About The Demon’s Share

Marco Savio, the founder of The Demon’s Share, fell in love with rum in the 1990s when he traveled through Panama and other Central American countries with his Cuban fiancée. During his travels, he met many master blenders and acquired a deep knowledge of this spirit. The idea to create “The Demon’s Share” was inspired by a whisky advertisement that talked at length about the so-called “Angel’s Share” – the portion of the distillate that evaporates through the pores of the casks during maturation. Marco asked himself: “Why should the angels actually get everything? They have fun with wine and ambrosia. I’m certainly no angel…” And so he created a distillate that is worthy of all those who are not angels.
