Sir Edmond Gin is a rebellious spirit, with a unique flavor profile. Instead of juniper taking center stage, vanilla is the dominant force im recipe. Its versatility makes the gin a favorite of bartenders in top bars.. Sir Edmond tells thereby the story of a flamingo that lives on the island of Reunion. A migratory bird, he has been inspired by the world of spices on his many travels to develop a culinary delicacy that focuses on the flavors of vanilla.
Sir Edmond Gin
Sir Edmond Gin is the very first gin refined with bourbon vanilla and thus occupies a unique position among contemporary gins. Bourbon vanilla, the best vanilla in the world, thrives on the tropical islands of Madagascar and Reunion. To protect the islands with their unique nature and biodiversity, an amount is donated to the African Wildlife Foundation for every bottle of Sir Edmond Gin sold.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Inviting, rich and a harmonious blend of juniper, cardamom, vanilla, a touch of ginger and earthy
angelica.
Palate: Full flavored, soft, velvety texture with vanilla and cardamom notes that lead into subtle cinnamon
and juniper with a subtle hint of ginger.

Flamingos are curious creatures. How do I know that? Because I am one. You can call me Sir Edmond, the creator of the world’s first gin with vanilla.
As a migrant from the island of Reunion, the world capital of vanilla, it was natural for me to create a gin that honors and develops one of the most precious flavors in the history of the world and the plant I most adore, the vanilla. In creating this truly distinctive gin, I was inspired by how the world’s finest haute cuisine chefs use spices to perform culinary magic.
I gathered the finest ingredients, selected with the sole purpose of supporting the vanilla that gives my rebellious spirit its unusual character. My gin is created through a precise distillation process with juniper, angelica root, ginger, cardamom and cinnamon. This distillate is then infused with bourbon vanilla for several weeks, resulting in the incomparable taste of Sir Edmond Gin.

The Rebellious Pornstar Martini
Ingredients
- 5 cl Sir Edmond Gin
- 3 cl 1883 passion fruit puree
- 4 cl passion fruit nectar
Optional – Prosecco/ Crémant/ Champagne
Preparation
Pre-chill a martini glass well. Shake all ingredients together shake. The drink in das Strain well chilled martini glass and top with half a passion fruit garnish Upon request, a glass of Prosecco/ Crémant/ Champagne can be served with the cocktail.
The Flamingo Club
Ingredients
- 5 cl Sir Edmond Gin
- 2 cl fresh lemon juice
- 1,5 cl raspberry syrup
- 1 egg white or 1.5 cl aquafaba
Preparation
Pre-chill a martini glass well. Put the ingredients in a shaker and without ice well shake. Then add ice to the shaker and again shaken. Pour the cocktail through a sieve into a glass. Garnish the Flamingo Club with a raspberry.
