Bremen, January 06, 2020 : The premium range of Rum Malecon from Panama is now presented in a new, high-quality design. The relaunch was successfully implemented with the well-known British agency Claessens, which as a specialized design agency has already worked for numerous companies in the international spirits industry.
After more than a year of intense work, company founder Marco Savio and his partners have created an elegant bottle design that stands out for its attention to detail. The revised labels as well as the stylish gift packaging underline the brand’s absolute premium claim. The successful mix of traditional and modern elements should help Rum Malecon to achieve noticeably more attention in the trade in the future. The Malecon Reserva Imperial Range (18yo, 21yo, 25yo) also features a slightly different bottle shape – thicker bottle base and longer bottle neck – and a distinctive two-part front label compared to the two younger qualities (12yo, 15yo).
Marco Savio, founder and managing director of Rum Malecon:
“We are absolutely happy with the result, because for us it was very important to maintain the connection to all the brand values created since 2000, but at the same time help the brand to be perceived more highly by focusing on its core competencies, such as elegance, tradition and premium appeal.”
Since the creation of Rum Malecon in 2000, Marco Savio has created a unique range that covers all of today’s market needs. In this way, he was able to realize his vision of making premium rum accessible to a wide audience.
About Rum Malecon
Rum specialist Marco Savio of Savio Trading Srl in Aosta, Italy, is the founder and owner of the Rum Malecon brand. The rum is produced according to old traditional Cuban methods and offers an extraordinary spectrum of flavors and impressions, which matures – depending on the variety – up to 25 years and longer. Rum Malecon is distilled from sugar cane molasses. Modern distillation equipment and a lot of manual work create a particularly aromatic distillate. The white rum is stored for many years in oak barrels. Used bourbon barrels from the USA are used for this purpose. In these barrels the fine vanilla aromas and the full-bodied sweetness develop excellently.
