Bremen, 01 July 2019. Copperhead The Alchemist’s Gin moves to the Weser on 01 July 2019 and will in future be distributed exclusively by Bremer Spirituosen Contor in Germany. The expressive gin in the copper-colored apothecary bottle was created by the passionate pharmacist Yvan Vindevogel.

Intrigued by the medicinal history of juniper spirit and the strong connection to his profession, he was inspired to develop Copperhead Gin.

Three qualities of the brand are now available. In addition to Copperhead Original, gin lovers can choose between Copperhead Black Batch and Copperhead The Gibson Edition.

Bucking the trend, Copperhead Original is a classic London Dry Gin deliberately made with only five carefully selected botanicals. Juniper berries, cardamom, angelica root, coriander seeds and orange peel are macerated and distilled in authentic copper stills with passion and high expertise.

For the Copperhead Black Batch Gin, in addition to the original botanicals, black Ceylon tea and elderberries are used. A surprising flavor twist. The distinctive matte black bottle clearly stands out.

In collaboration with world-renowned bartender Marian Beke from The Gibson Bar in London, the hearty Copperhead The Gibson Edition was developed – inspired by the classic Gibson Martini cocktail. For the gin 13 spices were selected, which are traditionally used for pickling “mixed pickles”. A touch of 8 year old genever further enhances the smooth and complex flavor of the gin.
