In 2023, the festival once again impressed and captivated visitors: With more than 70 booths, over 150 renowned brands were showcased, and there were even more than 500 different bottlings to discover. These figures impressively demonstrate that rum is not only fascinating and extraordinary, but also the most versatile spirit in the world. Whether you’re new to the world of rum or already an experienced connoisseur—every visitor to the GERMAN RUM FESTIVAL will find something to suit their taste. The variety of offerings leaves nothing to be desired! In addition to the numerous booths featuring high-quality products, great emphasis was placed on satisfying attendees’ thirst for knowledge. Over 20 tastings and masterclasses offered exciting insights into the world of rum. The various presentations not only discussed flavor profiles but also covered topics such as production processes, barrel aging, and environmental considerations. Renowned master distillers and producers were happy to mingle offstage to answer questions and share their expertise with visitors.
